Pretty damned useful. The pantheon's decently researched, and the new boon and Purviews are pretty damn cool. My only gripe is that they reference Goibnu, Lord of Iron in Demigod or God, and then failed to include him when they actually write up the Tuatha de Danaan. That and I have know real way of finding out when the next segment is coming out.

I am still reading this one, but what Demigod for blowing my mind, this book so far has taken that to "God"-ly levels. (hehe) This system is one of the best role playing systems I have ever discovered. I just hope someone in my play group will feel up to running a game so that I can play it.

I love how this works! Yes the book comes piece-meal, but I don't have to wonder whne its coming out, I just wait for my e-mail to tell me to come and download the next section. That is way cool.

The PDF itself - good quality, nicely scanned, easy to use.
The book is a fun and easy read, interesting and well written for the most part.
My main issue with this is the playability of the game itself. If you have a good group, jump on this, its a fun game. But I have played with some people who are out to abuse the rules as much as possible to min/max their characters and this game can lend itself well to that if a strong storyteller does not grab the reins before they run off making daffy duck noises.
So let the Storyteller beware. Potentially a good game - but bring your strongest cluebat to hit people with to calm them down from trying to make a solo focused power character in a group game.

I had a hard copy of this and wanted another copy - a computer copy was perfect since i could just print out a couple of relevant peices to make characters up or read to remind me of rules rather than lug the whole book.
I enjoy the game - its a little different though familiar to anyone who's played a White Wolf game. The pulp fiction feel really shows the people who created this game knew the genre and liked it - I know i've read more than one rule book where people didnt' seem to actually like the genre for which they wrote.
Above and beyond the game itself being fairly fun, the book is an enjoyable read and the PDF was very much exactly as the book i already have - only better because i can enlarge the print as needed for my elderly eyes. Good crisp graphics and excellent translation from print to PDF.

This is, as a whole, a pretty good addition to the Scion series. There are, however, bits and pieces that just feel wrong. The Titan covered in this book, Crom Cruach, for example, doesn't feel very interesting. The cosmology of the books is also a bit thin as well.
My big issue with it, though, is actually quite simple- the characters. I actually AM Irish, so when I say neither rings true, it's probably not a good sign.
Otherwise, though, it's quite a good buy, and entirely worth it's admittedly-quite-low price.

Having studied Irish lore, I had high hopes for this book. It is not a disappointment. Not only are the write-ups for the gods done well, but the history and narratives are excellent also. But, the best part of the book is the Geases that you can lay down for your character (and others), they offer very interesting avenues to flesh out your character and give a you and your ST great chances for challenging role playing. The Pantheon Boons are very well done as well with the last few being very very sick. All in all a very good start, and I hope the rest of the installments will be just as well done.

This is the best superhero RPG ever made. I was very sad when White Wolf discontiued it. I love th fact that the characters have personality, instead of stock Comic Hero stereotypes.

Well, I got to say that this is one of the best books I've ever gotten. Being a fan of Scion from the beginning, I've followed it through to the bitter end and watched some of my favourite NPCs - Donnie Rhodes, Eric Donner - become Gods in their own right.
I do wish for a more resolved ending to the pregenerated series, but they have left the ST much to work with. The Avatar idea is a really good one, though I do wish they'd been a bit clearer in how one can father/mother Scions when they become a God.
That's pretty much all I have to say for now. Love the fluff, tad disappointed with the crunch, but not enough to quit the series.

Intrigue and Espionage on a Nova scale. Become a super spy for the Directive and help take down evil Novas everywhere. James Bond(tm) has nothing on a Nova Agent from the Directive. Become one of the men in the Whites and Blues or one of the behind the scenes agents. The choice is yours to make. A must have addition for Storytellers and even players.

Aberrants is a book that shows the secrets of Project Utopia. Read the book if you dare. Aberrants is a name given to Novas who don't look like normal people. This is their tale against the Powers that Be. An addition to any Aberrant story. Great book for Storytellers who want their players to solve the mystery of "Slider" Landers.
